Limited Warranty

At TomRide, we stand behind our products and are committed to supporting our riders.

The TR400 was designed to be durable, easy to maintain, and simple to service when needed.

Every TomRide TR400 includes a 12-Month Limited Powertrain Warranty covering the main electrical drivetrain components, including the motor, battery, controller, and original electrical wiring.

In the unlikely event that a covered component experiences a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, TomRide will work directly with the customer to diagnose the issue and provide replacement parts when applicable.

Because the TR400 uses a simplified electric drivetrain system with plug-and-play style components, many parts can often be replaced quickly and easily without complicated repairs.

Customers may be asked to return the damaged part for inspection.

Shipping costs related to warranty claims, including returning parts to TomRide, are the responsibility of the customer.

Warranty coverage includes replacement parts only and does not include labor costs, installation costs, transportation costs, or reimbursement for third-party repairs unless approved in advance by TomRide USA.

TomRide USA maintains inventory of replacement parts and is here to assist customers with technical support, troubleshooting, and general questions throughout ownership.

Warranty Limitations

The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, racing, water exposure, neglect, improper storage, unauthorized repairs, or modifications to the vehicle.

The TR400 is factory limited to approximately 30 MPH. Unlocking, bypassing, or modifying the factory speed settings or electrical system will void the warranty.

Battery performance naturally changes over time depending on riding conditions, usage, charging habits, terrain, rider weight, and storage conditions.

Gradual reduction in battery range is considered normal wear and is not considered a defect.

For best performance and warranty protection, customers should use only approved chargers and follow the charging and storage recommendations provided by TomRide.
